Manage your license information
To submit and manage your license information, click on your account icon to access the ‘My Account’ page. On the top-right of the page, you can enter, submit, and manage your license information.
Once your license information is submitted, you will receive an email confirming that the license verification is in progress. The status will then update from ‘Pending Submission’ to ‘Verification in Progress’.
Once approved, you will receive another email confirming that your license has been approved. The status will update from ‘Verification in Progress’ to ‘Approved,’ and you will gain full access to all features of Cura x Cura.
License submission may be declined if the information provided is invalid or inaccurate (e.g., expired license or inaccurate details). In this case, you will receive an email notifying you that the license has been declined, and the status will change from ‘Verification in Progress’ to ‘Declined.’ You can then re-submit your valid and accurate license information for verification.
Manage your seller’s permit
To submit and manage your seller’s permit information, click on your account icon to access the ‘My Account’ page. On the right of the page, you can enter, submit, and manage your seller’s permit.
A seller’s permit is not mandatory. However, if you would like to waive the sales tax, please upload your seller’s permit information at your earliest convenience. Cura x Cura will not charge sales tax at the time of purchase but may apply sales tax on an annual basis. If this information is not provided, we will reach out to request your seller’s permit and notify you when sales tax will be applied.
Reset your password
To change your password, click on your account icon to access the ‘My Account’ page. On the bottom of the page, you may change your password by entering your old and desired new password.
If you forgot your password, click on ‘Forgot your password’ on the Sign In page and follow the prompts on the next screen by entering your email address. An instruction to reset your password will be sent to your email. If you do not receive the instruction email, check your email account’s Spam folder.

Managing patient profiles
Note: The Patient Order feature is exclusively available for Practitioner accounts with approved license information.
To create, edit, or delete a patient profile, you can either navigate through the ‘Patients’ function on the side menu or the ‘Add Patients’ function on the Home page.
Once in the Patient page, you can create, edit, or delete patient profiles.
Creating a Patient Profile
When creating a patient profile, their personal and contact information are required, including their name, email address, shipping address, and phone number. You may also add any additional information or notes about each patient.
Once all required information is provided, click ‘Create’ to complete creating the patient profile.
Editing and Deleting a Patient Profile
To edit or delete a patient profile, navigate to the desired patient and click ‘Edit.’ You can update the patient’s information and click ‘Save Changes’ when finished.
To delete a patient record, click the ‘Delete’ button. Please note that deleting a patient record is permanent, and the data cannot be recovered.
Create patient orders
There are two ways to order patent herbs for your patient:
1. Navigate to your specific patient on the Patients page and click on ‘Order Product’. This will automatically navigate you to the Products page and select your patient to continue ordering products.
2. Navigate to the Products page and click on ‘Select Patient/Dispensary’ and ‘Select Patients’ to select the specific patient to continue the ordering of products.
Order a customized formula for your patient
There are two ways to order customized formulas for your patient.
1. Navigate to your specific patient in the Patients page and click on ‘Build Formulas’. This will automatically navigate you to the Build Formulas page and continue building and ordering customized formulas.
2. Navigate to the Build Formulas page and click on ‘Select Patients’ to select the specific patient to continue building the customized formula.
One-click reorder for your patient
To do a quick reorder for a patient, simply navigate to the Patients page and click on ‘Order History’ of the specific patient you want to do the reorder for.
Navigate to the order you want to reorder and click on ‘Place order again’. This will automatically add the order to your cart.
Create clinic or patient order
To create clinic or patient order, navigate to the Products page and click on ‘Select Patient/Dispensary’ and select either the clinic or patient to continue ordering patent herbs. Note that, if there is no selection done, any products added to cart are automatically added as a dispensary order.
Once either the dispensary or a patient is selected, all products added to cart will be automatically added to your selection.
Create personalized prescription notes
Creating personalized prescription notes is available after selecting a patient or dispensary. When you add a product to the cart, a side window would appear for your prescription notes.
The prescription notes may include the frequency, duration, food restriction, and any personalized prescription notes. The prescription note will be included in the package of your order for each patient.
How to search for products
Searching for patent herbs can be done on the Products page through the following:
- Search by name in Pinyin, Latin or 中文in the search box
- Filtering by brand
- Filtering by type
- Filtering by ingredients
Create clinic or patient orders
- Create a clinic order if this is for yourself or if you want the order shipped to your clinic.
- Create a patient order if you want the order shipped directly to your patients.
Option 1: After clicking ‘Build Formulas’, you may choose to place an order for your dispensary or a specific patient. If you’re ordering for your clinic or yourself, simply select ‘My Dispensary’. For patient orders, select ‘Select Patients’. You may select an existing patient and update their information if needed, or click ‘Add New’ to create a new patient profile by providing the required details.
Option 2 (Not available for student accounts): You can create orders for yourself, your clinic, or patients through the ‘Patients’ module. In the Patients module, you can build customized formulas for existing patients by clicking ‘Build Formulas’ or ‘Create Patient’ to order new patients. To create an order for yourself or your clinic, click ‘Build Formulas for Dispensary’, which will direct you to the Build Formulas Module with the selected accounts.
Please note that for student accounts or practitioner accounts that are under verification, pending submission, or in declined status, you are not allowed to order for patients. However, you can place orders for yourself or your clinic’s needs. Once your practitioner account is approved, you will be able to start ordering for your patients.
How to build formulas - Granules
Step 1: Choose parties
Order For: Select the party you want to order this formula for. Choose ‘My Dispensary’ if this is for yourself or if you want the order to be shipped to your clinic. Choose ‘Select Patients’ if you want the order to be shipped directly to your patients.
Step 2: Choose Product Type.
Product Type: Select the product type you would like the formula to be made into. Cura x Cura offers Granules, Capsules, Decoctions, Raw Herbs, Honey Pills, and Starch Pills. Please note that once you proceed from Step 2, you cannot change the product type unless you choose to start over. Currently, we do not support interchange options.
Application: By default, ‘Internal Use’ is selected. However, you have the option to choose ‘External Use’. Please be aware that certain herbs are designated for external use only. If this option is not selected, you will not be able to process your order.
Step 3: Build Formula
- Search for single herbs using the search bar on the left side. The search supports Pinyin, Latin, or 中文 (Chinese) for your convenience.
- Add Formulas: To add classic formulas or your previously saved formulas, click the ‘ + Add Formulas’ button. The right sidebar will slide in and display a list of formulas. Classic formulas are tagged with ‘System’, while your personally saved formulas are tagged with ‘Custom’. You can search for formulas by the classic formula name or saved name.
- Total Weight/Bottle: For granules, we offer ’50g/bottle’ or ‘100g/bottle’, as the granules will be packed in different standard bottle sizes. You may choose the quantity of bottles you would like to order.
- Brand: Select your preferred herbal granule brand from the dropdown menu.
- Daily Dosage (g): The daily dosage refers to the raw herb dosage for single herbs (not the herb extract). Typically, the recommended adult dosage for raw herbs is 45 grams per day, which is equivalent to 9 grams of herbal extract.
- Actual Weight (g): The granules are made from herb extracts with a 5:1 yield ratio, which refers to the amount of product obtained during the extraction process. A 5:1 yield means that for every 500 kg of herbs, 100 kg of granules is produced. The Actual Weight is automatically calculated using the formula: Total Weight per Bottle x Number of Bottles x Daily Dosage Percentage.
- Hide Ingredients amount on the product label: This option allows you to hide the individual herb amounts on the product label. If selected, the label will display only the herb ingredients, excluding their respective daily dosages or percentages. However, please note that ingredient information must still be displayed on the product label in accordance with legal requirements.
- Encapsulate: Select this option if you prefer to have your formulas made into vegan capsules. Fees may apply.
- Save Your Formula: You can save your formula for future use by simply giving it a name.
- Back: Please be aware that once you click the ‘Back’ button, all the entries in your formula will be lost.
Step 4: Prescription (Optional)
Use this section to write any prescription notes. For any special requests to Cura x Cura, please use the “Any Special Requests to Cura x Cura” field.

- Capsule Count: For capsules, we offer ‘100 ct/bottle’ or ‘200 ct/bottle’. 100 capsules are approximately equivalent to a total of 50g of herbal granules. You may choose the quantity of bottles you would like to order.
- Brand: Select your preferred herbal granule brand from the dropdown menu.

System alerts on herb dosage and herb combinations
Yellow Warning Sign:
- Non-Toxic Herb Dosage: The current dose of certain herbs exceeds the recommended medical limit for non-toxic herbs. If you wish to proceed with the current dose, you may do so by clicking the ‘Confirm’ button. By confirming, you acknowledge this and accept full responsibility for any associated risks.
- Allergens: This herb formula contains allergens that could potentially cause an allergic reaction. If you would like to proceed with the inputted dose, you may click the ‘Confirm’ button. By confirming, you acknowledge this and accept full responsibility for any associated risks.
Red Warning Sign:
- Toxic Herb Dosage: The current dose of certain herbs exceeds the recommended medical limit for toxic herbs. You will need to adjust the dose to fall within the safe range before proceeding.
- External Use Only: Your prescription contains herbs for external use only. You will need to update your selection under ‘Application’ to ‘External Use’ in the previous step ‘Choose Product Type’.
- Contraindications: Your prescription contains 18 incompatible herbs and 19 antagonists. You will need to replace certain herbs before proceeding.
Save your formula
To save your formula for future use, click on ‘Save Formula’ and give it a name.
How to add/modify the classic formula
To add classic formulas or your previously saved formulas, click the ‘ + Add Formulas’ button. The right sidebar will slide in and display a list of formulas. Classic formulas are tagged with ‘System’, while your personally saved formulas are tagged with ‘Custom’.
Click the ‘Select’ button on the formula to add it to the formula builder. After the ingredients are added, you can adjust the daily dosage based on your treatment needs.
