Quality evaluations

Yes, We Are Very Picky

Cura x Cura partners with vendors who meet rigorous quality standards. Every vendor in the Cura x Cura catalog must comply with GMP regulations, ensuring that all products are manufactured with safety, consistency, and efficacy in mind.

What We Required From Our Vendors

  • cGMP auditing & certifications
  • Compliance reporting
  • FDA inspections and compliance history
  • Finished goods testing and quality control measures
  • Labeling accuracy and facility cleanliness
  • Raw ingredient sourcing and testing for contaminants such as heavy metals, pesticides, and other adulterants
  • Recall procedures and safety protocols

industrial standards

USDA Organic

At Cura x Cura, we are honored to offer certified organic raw herbs and granules on our platform. 79 herbs out of 672 herbs are certified organic and used in our compounding lab. For our organic herbs, our vendor uses the testing method provided by certifying agency, CCOF, which screens for 173 of the most common and prohibited pesticides. We take pride in being able to trace the source of these herbs, from the land and farm to the grower, ensuring transparency and the highest quality in every batch.

FDA

Vendors at Cura x Cura are all FDA registered, fully compliant with FDA protocols, and follow strict labeling requirements. They are regularly audited by the FDA to ensure adherence to these standards. Approximately 90% of our raw herbs pass the FDA import test, which screens for over 400 pesticide residues.

GMP

All of our vendors are required to hold GMP certifications. This certification covers various aspects, including controlled manufacturing environments, product purity, cleanliness, accurate documentation, and proper testing protocols. It minimizes risks such as contamination and ingredient errors and ensures the final products meet their stated quality and composition

COA Test

At Cura x Cura, all vendors are required to provide a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for individual product, ensuring transparency and quality. A COA verifies the product's identity, potency, and purity by detailing its chemical composition and confirming it meets safety standards. This guarantees that the products are consistent and free from harmful substances, aligning with our commitment to high-quality herbal solutions.

Agriculture

GAP certification verifies that our vendor manages inputs like water, soil, and pesticides responsibly to reduce contamination risks. It also ensures proper handling during harvesting, packing, and storage to maintain product safety and quality. Additionally, the certification includes worker health and safety training to ensure ethical practices throughout the production process.

Rigorous
testing

Pesticides Test

We only accept a ND (none detected) result for pesticide tests. Our vendor ensures the quality of their sulfur-free herbs through in-house vapor testing (with a limit of 1.0 ppm) or lab titration for sulfites (ND only). In addition to pesticide and sulfur testing, the herbs undergo thorough Species Identification and Contaminant Screening. Aflatoxin-susceptible herbs, such as seeds, grains, and Yan Hu Suo, are carefully tested for aflatoxins to ensure safety and purity.

Heavy Metal Test

Our vendors ensure that all of their herbal products meet or exceed the established safety levels for heavy metals, including lead, arsenic, cadmium, and mercury. They adhere to rigorous testing protocols to guarantee the purity and safety of every product, giving us confidence that our offerings maintain the highest quality standards.
